Restoration and Repairs

We offer repairs for everything from broken heads and cracked Toeres, to a complete drum make over! A full price quote for repairs depends on the state of the drum and what needs to be fixed, please view some of restoration and repair fees below.

Broken heads and skin replacement

Faatete, Bass drum, or Pahu Tupai

$150 USD per head. Skin or vinyl
$150 USD + cost of skin for cow skin (Hawaiian Pahu or Pahu Tupai)

*Djembes and other non Pacific drums are subject to additonal charges*

Re-tuning Skin drums:

$50 USD

Toere re-tuning and deepening

Re-tuning or deepening Toeres:

$100 USD

Toere Crack Repair and Patches

Minor Crack filling and repair:

$100 USD

Full Toere sanding, crack repair, and finish coating:

$200 USD

Ironwood patch addition or replacement:

$150 USD

Bring us your old drums and drum shells for a one of a kind Pasifika make over!

**Please note that filling the cracks may not ALWAYS fix the "dead" sound of the Toere but it almost ALWAYS improves the tone and pitch of the Toere.**

**All other services, such as rim repairs and re-fabricating of parts is priced based on service being needed as well as condition of the drum.**
