To'ere and Cook Islands Pate

The Tahitian To'ere is the leader of any group and performance. Its unique voice commands not only the dancers, but the drummers and the audience to follow in its lead. Cook Island Pates have a voice of their own. Similar to the To'ere, the Pates unique harmonies lead any performance. Pasifika Drums is proud to cater to both our Tahitian players and our Cook Islands players.

**STANDARD WOOD TOERES**

Our To'eres and Pates are made with Red Ironbark wood. After years of testing, we have settled on this wood due to its sound and hardness. Please note that Red Ironbark is an extremely hard and dense wood so this does add additional weight to the drum.

 Lighter weight To'eres or "Patch" To'eres are also available. These To'eres are usually made from a softer and lighter color wood and are inlayed with an Ironwood patch at the hitting spot.

**PREMIUM MAHOGANY TOERES**

 Apart from the standard wood,  We also offer a premium wood option. Made from a Mahogany wood (our "Go too" wood for carvings and urns) and inlayed with an Ironwood patch, The colors and sounds have far exceeded our expectations. 

All log drums come standard with our signature carving on the top and bottom. Custom carvings are always welcome. For all custom carving requests, please see the "Custom Drums" section or contact me for more information.

• Handheld (Tahitian) 3" x 20" including the 4" handle. 16" length without the handle: $299 USD / $399 USD for Mahogany
• Small 4" x 22": $299 USD / $399 USD for Mahogany
• Medium 6" x 24" : $399 USD / $499 USD for Mahogany
• Large (Standard To'ere size) 8" x 30" : $599 USD / $799 for Mahogany
• X- Large (Cook Islands) 10" x 36": $799 USD / $999 USD for Mahogany
